My flame was shaped through generations—by ancestors who carried the craft as Melungeon of the Appalachian Mountains, Métis of Indigenous descent, and Acadians, threads woven together to form my Louisiana Cajun and Creole heritage. Spirit and scent walked hand in hand, and their knowing flows through me still. Each offering is not a product, but an invocation.
